    Founded to serve the emerging digital broadcasting and telecoms industries. Supported the rollout of digital TV, satellite platforms, and next-generation telecom infrastructure — laying the groundwork for the connected world.

  • 2004Satellite & Secure Transactions

    Expanded into satellite and space-based communications to support global connectivity, early Earth observation, and defence. Simultaneously applied this security expertise to digital payments – setting the foundation for future work in Fintech.

  • 2010Cybersecurity & Resilience

    Anticipated the rising importance of cybersecurity as critical infrastructure came under increasing threat. Built networks across encryption, cyber defence, and threat intelligence – capability that underpins much of our work to this day.

  • 2013Early AI & Data Science

    Recognised the early potential of machine learning, computer vision, and predictive analytics. Initially applied in telecoms and mobility, these capabilities soon powered breakthroughs in fraud prevention, autonomous driving, and algorithmic trading.

  • 2015Autonomous Systems & Energy Transition

    Deployed AI and computer vision capability into the nascent autonomous mobility space. From here, we moved into EV charging, battery innovation, and critical minerals, building deep sector expertise in the technologies reshaping how the world moves and powers itself.

  • 2016Life Sciences & Robotics at Scale

    Applied cross-sector AI and robotics knowledge to support innovation in diagnostics, biotech, medical imaging, and surgical robotics. This expansion marked a turning point in our involvement in precision medicine and healthcare transformation.

  • 2019Space Economy & London Office Launch

    Re-entered the space sector with a broader remit – from in-orbit servicing to climate monitoring. Opened our London office as a dedicated hub for our growing Space & Satellite division.

  • 2020Advanced Manufacturing & Supply Chain Resilience

    In response to pandemic disruption and rising geopolitical tension, we focused on securing talent in semiconductors, advanced materials, and reshoring efforts – helping clients rebuild critical infrastructure and sovereign capability.

  • 2024US Expansion & Fintech Leadership

    Established Wenham Carter Inc. and opened our New York office to support clients across Fintech and Financial Services. With 40% of our business in the US, we support innovators advancing AI-driven trading, blockchain, and financial cybersecurity.
