Executive Search

The corporate "war for talent" means that companies determined to recruit the very best people in their market rely on retained headhunters to identify and approach these key personnel. Success for headhunters, therefore, depends on their level of market knowledge, network of contacts and their ability to target and assess potentially suitable candidates.

Operating in the Technology, Media and Telecoms market for many years, Wenham Carter has been able to build an unrivalled level of expertise in this industry. We can boast a highly successful track record in delivery on Executive Search campaigns and we have been responsible for filling key roles in a variety of organisations in the sectors in which we operate.

When we work with a client on a Search campaign we will establish the requirements of the role and put together a target list of companies. The appropriate individuals within these companies are then identified and in many cases they will already be known to Wenham Carter. These individuals are then discreetly approached and assessed for the role. The Consultant will then meet with the client and will present the details of shortlisted candidates to be progressed with. At every stage of the process we keep in contact with the candidate and at the offer stage we deal with buy-back situations ensuring that the candidate is fully aware of the implications of counter offers. We then keep in regular contact with the candidate through any period of gardening leave and also throughout their first few weeks of employment in their new position reporting back to the client on any potential concerns.

Based on centrally-mandated high quality standards, Wenham Carter’s Executive Search activities are among the most comprehensive and most professional in the industry. Each Wenham Carter Consultant uses a proven methodology whilst inserting their own experience, expertise and creative thought into each assignment and it is this process that enables us to find our clients the best talent available in the market.
